TIMELESS
details
Here’s what you should know about this palette!
the basics
At its untouched core, the timeless palette is comprised of only white and a variety of shades of green.
In spring, typical blooms would include ranunculus, anemones with green centers, campanula, and snapdragons.
In summer, you’ll find cosmos, zinnias and dahlias.
More than most palettes, this one is all about the greenery! Lush, diverse foliage with interesting shapes including eucalyptus, cascading ruscus, frosted explosion and bunny tail grass, and bells of Ireland are frequently used.
The spirit
For Loveletter Blooms, the timeless palette is all about taking those classic whites and greens, but with the modern local farm flair of grasses, seed pods, and unique textures that sparkle in our fields.
This palette is not a tight ball of white roses and lilies, but more a meadow of diverse greenery as a backdrop to the gorgeous geometry of white blooms.
variations
The timeless palette arguably has the most potential of any to customize utilizing our one-addition palette rule. With the addition of rusty and muted oranges, it becomes a stunning fall moment (as seen in some of the photos). With blush, some added subtlety, softness and romance. With burgundy, a dramatic mood. The addition of yellow opens up the palette for additions like feverfew and yellow-centered cosmos.
Because we design with what is thriving in our fields each week, individual flower varieties and exact shades will vary throughout the season while staying true to the overall palette and spirit described here.
